Compatible Axis devices
SAF3 is compatible with mainly the Q and P product lines of fixed cameras and encoders. What model you should choose depends on your site's specific characteristics.
Basic requirements
At least these requirements must be fulfilled for best performance.
- Fixed, visual range camera
- Good lighting
- Clean and focused optics
- High-contrast background
- Electronic image stabilization
Chipset support
ACAPs compete for CPU power with other functions on the camera (such as eg streaming). To leave as much processing power as possible to the application it is recommended to limit other CPU-consuming processes.
